Conscious Living

In this “Conscious Living” issue we aim to take a holistic and expansive view on conscious living; from the current climate of desire for healthier, happier lifestyles to the bigger picture of global social and ecological consciousness. Disillusioned with focusing our lifestyles on the attainment of material goods, more and more of us are seeking to achieve balance and to enhance our life with a greater sense of wholeness. We’ll be exploring ideas such as collective responsibility, the activist brand, trans-seasonal retail and anti-obsolescence as well as looking what this means for design, highlighting some of the inspiring innovations and thinking coming out of design studios.
